About me ...

I am a regular person like most everyone else. I am married to my very best friend, my toughest critic and my most loyal supporter, my alter-ego, my crutch, my voice of reason and the person who can push all of my buttons and light me up or hold me and protect me from the big, bold world. I am the daughter of two imperfect parents, thankfully, who have managed to keep their partnership strong since 1962. I am the middle child of three siblings, both with their own beautiful families.

I am a typical girl - I love horses and dolphins, I dislike cruelty and criticism, I can bake, but I don't too often and I can sew, but I never do. I am a tomboy - I love to compete, I love to sweat, I hate to lose but I don't often win, I want to get better, I love being sore after a workout and if the odds are stacked against me, that is the best incentive ever. If there are rules, I am happy to break them if the other side of the coin is ethically worthy of fighting for. I try to do the things that I am not good at, until I am good at them, and then I decide if I really want to do them or not. Stray animals find their way to my home and my heart (much to the dismay of my husband); I could never turn my back on an animal in need. I never realized how much one human being could care for another, especially not their own, until my step-daughter became a part of my life. I am tuned into and participating in life actively; I choose my battles, I choose my challenges and I work tirelessly for what I believe in, regardless of the odds.

Lifestyle RESTORATION is my attempt to fight for what I believe in. I believe that people deserve to be treated respectfully and that they deserve to be informed. I do not believe that any amount of money can buy better health - it must come from within each individual, by his or her own definition and on his or her own terms. I believe we must all be open minded and understand that truth exists only in the present, not in the future and not in the past and that solutions to a Healthy Lifestyle are as different as each individual person is unique. In a changing world I believe we have to move forward as the world does. Fitness and nutrition, lifestyle and creating balance are not exact sciences; they change and grow as we do. I understand humanity and I understand the complexity of lifestyle; health, fitness, elite athletic performance can work anywhere if an individual is willing to invest in him or herself.

My name is Pam Giese and I believe in optimizing the quality of life.
